Frequently Asked Questions

How is traffic calculated?

Traffic is calculated based on the total size of requests sent from your devices. This includes the complete request data (headers + body) for every network request, log, or event sent to our servers. Each request is measured in its raw form to give you accurate usage metrics. Also deleted requests are counted towards your quota.

What is the difference between the yearly and monthly plans?

Requests are counted for each billing cycle. For the monthly plans this means your quota is reset every month. With the yearly plan your quota is reset every year. So it's a good choice if you have unevenly distributed traffic throughout the year.

Can you give me a pricing example?

Example 1:

Your average request size is 5 KB and you're sending 100k requests per month.

That would be equal to 3333 requests per day. This would result in 0.5 GB of traffic. In this case you should choose the Team plan.

Example 2:

Your average request size is 5 KB and you're sending 1 million requests per month. That would be equal to 33.33k requests per day. This would result in 5 GB of traffic. In this case you should choose the Pro plan.

Example 3:

Your average request size is 5 KB and you're sending 10 million requests per month. That would be equal to 333.33k requests per day. This would result in 15 GB of traffic. In this case you should choose the Enterprise plan.

What happens if I exceed my traffic limit?

We'll notify you when you reach 80% of your limit. If you reach 100% of your limit you have to upgrade to a higher plan. Access to existing requests will still work but new requests will be rejected with a 429 error.

Whats the session history?

The session history is the amount of time you can go back in time to see the requests that were made. The session history is limited to 7 days for the Team plan, 30 days for the Pro plan and 365 days for the Enterprise plan.

Is there a custom plan?

If your requirements are not met by the plans we offer, please contact us at support@logdog.app and we'll be happy to discuss a custom plan for you.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans.

Why this pricing model?

In comparison to a request based pricing this model also takes the size of the requests into account. This results in a more fair pricing model that aligns with the actual real world usage.

What happens if my subscription expires?

If your subscription expires you still have access to your data but you will not be able to create new requests. New requests will be rejected with a 429 error.

Refund Policy

Annual plans

We'll refund your full payment if requested in the first 30 days. After that annual plans are not refundable.
