Data Protection at LogDog

At LogDog, the security and protection of your data is our highest priority. As a company based in Germany, we are fully committed to the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable European and German data protection laws.

1. Where is your data hosted?

All LogDog customer data is hosted exclusively in Germany, within ISO 27001-certified data centers. We do not transfer your data outside the European Union. Our infrastructure partners are carefully selected to ensure the highest standards of security and compliance.

2. Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics Instead we rely on a self hosted privacy compliant analytics tool called Umami.

Umami is a privacy compliant analytics tool that is open source and self hosted. It is fully compliant with the GDPR and other data protection laws.

We do not use any other analytics tools.

3. GDPR & Data Privacy

LogDog is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your data solely for the purposes of providing and improving our services, and only with your consent or as permitted by law. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Data minimization: We only collect data that is strictly necessary for our service.
  • Transparency: You can always request information about the data we store about you.
  • Purpose limitation: Your data is never used for purposes other than those stated.

4. How do we protect your data?

We use state-of-the-art technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. This includes encrypted data transmission (TLS), strict access controls, regular security audits, and continuous monitoring of our systems.

All employees and partners of LogDog are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
